It lasts a very long time because of the backup AA batteries and internal lithium batteries that are powered by the sun. The quality is outstanding at night. It also functions as a fantastic security camera because we record some human activity on our property that shouldn't have been occurring. Super happy.

William P. Melious It's a good camera all around. It accomplishes the task. Although the directions were not particularly clear, my spouse managed to find an excellent guide video. We're having some problems with the sensors; it appears that you need to be within ten feet for it to detect an object. Since we've only had it for a month or so, the settings might need to be adjusted further. Although we are total novices with this trail cam, we are happy with the captures thus far.
