Q1. The camera can't be turned on.
A1: Please make sure the camera is in working mode ('ON' mode), at this time the camera screen is off, when there are animals or people passing, the camera will be triggered to shoot.
"
A2: Please check whether the positive and negative poles of the battery are installed correctly.
- If it is not a battery installation problem, please replace the camera with a brand new 8x 1.5V AA battery to test the camera. (Please do not use 1.2V rechargeable batteries, insufficient voltage may cause the camera does not work or night vision does not work.)"
A3: If an external power supply is used, check the specifications of the power supply and the connector (DC 6V/2 A, 3.5mm).
A4: The camera's working temperature is -15°C to 40°C. It may not work if the ambient temperature is too high or too low.
Q2:Camera turns off automatically or keeps restarting.
A1:Check if it is in low battery. Replace with new 8X 1.5V AA batteries or use a 6V/2.0A external power supply (do not use a 1.2V rechargeable battery).
Q3: Camera not working properly, confusing functions (PIR sensor not working or can't switch to video mode or photo+video)
A1: Please check if time-lapse recording is turned on, which will cause PIR not to work and can not switch to video mode, turn off time-lapse photography or restore the default settings and restart.
Q1: The camera works fine during the day , but the pictures are black at night.
A1: Low battery or incorrect use of external power supply may cause the IR LED to not work properly, then night vision not work. Replace with brand new 8x 1.5V AA batteries or use 6V/2.0A external power supply. (Do not mix old and new batteries, 1.2V rechargeable batteries are not supported.)
Q2: The night vision effect is poor.
A1: Low battery status may cause the camera to have poor night vision. The camera automatically turns on the IRLED when shooting at night, which will consume more battery power. Therefore, if the camera in low battery, the night vision effect will be poor, or even night vision does not work. Please check the camera if it is in a low battery state and replace the 8x 1.5V AA battery.
A2: In the field, the camera relies on infrared LEDs to supplement the ambient light source. If the subject (e.g. distant plants and small animals) is far away, the photo or video will be blurry. Therefore, we recommend mounting the camera about 5 meters within the effective range of the subject (the smaller the size of the object, the closer the distance needed).
Q3: The picture is too bright at night.
A1: It may be caused by overexposure. Please check whether there are reflective objects in the environment, such as glass. Adjust the placement environment and angle of the camera can avoid this problem.
Q1:Camera does not take pictures/videos.
A1:The monitored object is too small, small animals may not trigger the camera to work.
A2: The installation position angle is not suitable, please adjust the installation height and angle of the camera, you can use the app to view, ensure that the monitored objects appear in the monitoring area.
A3: The detection range of the pir sensors is 120°. Please aim the main sensor at the capture zone to ensure that no movement is missed.
A4:The PIR sensor does not work when time-lapse recording is switched on or when a monitoring period is set, please turn off time-lapse recording and monitoring periods, Restore the default settings and restart.
A5:The camera will enter a stationary non-triggered state for each completed photo/video recording, depending on the customized "PIR interval time", the camera will not take any action until the interval time is over, you can adjust the "PIR interval" according to the actual situation.
Q2:No object trigger, the camera takes pictures frequently
A1:Adjust the sensitivity of the camera to avoid the wind blowing leaves, direct sunlight and other reasons that lead to invalid photos.
A2:Confirm whether the "Time-lapse" function is turned on, the PIR will be disabled after turning on the timer function, and the camera will take video regularly.
Q3:Sometimes the camera can trigger by people but not animals?
A1:The monitored object is too small, small animals may not trigger the camera to work.
A2: The installation position angle is not suitable, please adjust the installation height and angle of the camera, you can use the app to view, ensure that the monitored objects appear in the monitoring area.
A3: The detection range of the pir sensors is 120°. Please aim the main sensor at the capture zone to ensure that no movement is missed.
Q1:It shows 'SD card Error'
A1:The memory card is not formatted, Please format the SD card on the computer first, then insert the SD card while the camera is off, turn it on and then format it.
Q2: SD card does not work.
A1:Poor contact, try to re-plug a few times (Please operate in the camera off state)
Q3: No photo or video files inside the memory card
A1:The monitored object is too small, small animals may not trigger the camera to work.
A2: The installation position angle is not suitable, please adjust the installation height and angle of the camera, you can use the app to view, ensure that the monitored objects appear in the monitoring area.
A3: The detection range of the pir sensors is 120°. Please aim the main sensor at the capture zone to ensure that no movement is missed.
Q1: Forgot your password?
A1: Enter the universal password '1111'
Q2: The camera can be turned on, but other abnormalities occur.
A1: Try the following solution:1. Replace the battery with sufficient charge.
A2. Replace the memory card and format it with the camera.
A3. Restore the camera to default settings and restart.
Q3: Battery power consumption is fast.
A1: Battery life is related to the number of photos and videos taken by the camera, the length of the videos and the parameter settings. The more photos/videos taken, the longer the videos and the higher the parameters, the faster the power consumption. You can extend the battery life by adjusting the following parameters.
① Extended PIR interval
② Turn down PIR sensitivity
③ Turn down IR light brightness
④ Reduce the length of the video ( e.g. 5s)
⑤ Reduce the number of pictures taken( e.g. 1P)
⑥ Rationalise parameters to reduce the time spent shooting at night or use an external power supply
A2: Please make sure the camera uses 8x 1.5V brand new batteries (do not mix old and new batteries, do not use 1.2V rechargeable batteries.)
